💨 Abstract

Former U.S. Charles Rangel, renowned for his advocacy and public service, was honored at a funeral mass in Manhattan. Attendees included former President Bill Clinton, Gov. Kathy Hochul, and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who celebrated Rangel’s life and impact. Rangel, a Korean War veteran and long-serving congressman, was remembered for his sharp wit, leadership in the Congressional Black Caucus, and his critical role in economic programs for Harlem.
