💨 Abstract
In Northwest DC, a boil water advisory is in effect. Meanwhile, a federal judge in California will decide if President Trump exceeded his authority by deploying the California National Guard in Los Angeles against Governor Newsom's wishes. The governor and Los Angeles Mayor Bass view the deployment as an effort to undermine local jurisdictions and intimidate immigrants, citing increased immigration enforcement and fear in communities. Los Angeles protests have spread to other cities. Both the Trump administration and the judge have different focus areas for the ruling.
