💨 Abstract

A Japanese company, ispace, experienced its second lunar lander crash this month. The Resilience lander, aiming for the moon's far north, failed due to a malfunctioning laser range finder. It crashed rapidly, and the wreckage was spotted by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. Despite these setbacks, ispace plans its third and fourth moon missions in 2027 and beyond, aiming to regain trust and continue lunar exploration.
