💨 Abstract
After a shooting that killed a Minnesota state legislator and her husband, and injured another legislator and their spouse, lawmakers are reconsidering security measures. Senators Tina Smith and Amy Klobuchar highlighted the dangers legislators now face and the need for protection. The FBI is offering a reward for information on the suspect, Vance Boelter, amid a rise in politically motivated violence, said to be from various political backgrounds. Minnesota's entire congressional delegation condemned the attack.
