💨 Abstract
Serbian police cleared street blockades set up by anti-government protesters in Belgrade early Monday. Thousands of demonstrators had erected barricades to protest recent arrests following a massive rally calling for early parliamentary elections. The protests, led by university students, demand justice for victims of a train station collapse and the ousting of President Aleksandar Vucic's government, which they accuse of corruption and authoritarianism.
