💨 Abstract
Flash flooding in northern West Virginia has claimed nine lives, with three more victims identified. Sandra Kay Parsons, 83, was found in the Ohio River, joining Jesse Pearson, 43, and Connie Veronis, 71, previously identified. Seven of the nine victims were from Triadelphia. Heavy rain caused extensive damage, impacting homes, businesses, and roads, and prompting Gov. Patrick Morrisey to declare a state of emergency.
