💨 Abstract
More than 20 Democratic-led states sued the Trump administration over its efforts to cut Medicaid payments to Planned Parenthood and other large providers. The cuts, aimed at defunding Planned Parenthood, would deprive millions of low-income Americans of essential healthcare services. The states argue the move violates free speech rights and is unclear, requesting the provision be blocked and deemed unconstitutional. Planned Parenthood and Maine Family Planning have already sued over similar concerns.
