💨 Abstract
A sheriff’s deputy was fatally shot after responding to a domestic disturbance call in Kansas City, Kansas. Deputy Elijah Ming, 34, was shot multiple times along with another police officer around 3:45 p.m. Saturday. A woman had requested assistance due to threats from a 38-year-old man. The man barricaded himself inside, exchanged gunfire with police, and was later taken into custody after being injured.
