💨 Abstract

A 42-year-old Utah man, Brian Astle, died after falling while descending off-trail in Glacier National Park, Montana. The incident occurred above the Highline Trail and was reported Wednesday. Astle's body was not recovered until Thursday. Separately, a 67-year-old Texas man died while hiking on the South Kaibab Trail in Grand Canyon National Park. Efforts to revive him failed.
