💨 Abstract
A 77-year-old woman, Linda Perry Dennett, was arrested for obstructing justice after her son, Cameron Ray Dennett, fatally shot a South Carolina deputy during a midnight arrest attempt. Cameron, 25, wanted for multiple charges, opened fire from the bathroom, wounding another officer, and was killed in the exchange. Linda initially claimed her son wasn't home but later admitted she knew he was there, armed, and wanted.
