💨 Abstract
On July 15, 2025, wildfires in Grand Canyon National Park destroyed the historic Grand Canyon Lodge and a visitors center, burning over 90 square miles. Two fires, the Dragon Bravo Fire and the White Sage Fire, are being fought, with the latter being larger. The fires have led to evacuations and closures in the North Rim area. Controversy surrounds the National Park Service's initial management of the fires, with calls for investigations.
