💨 Abstract
In southwestern Pakistan, gunmen abducted and killed nine passengers, primarily from Punjab, after stopping two buses in the Balochistan province. The attackers fled, and a search is underway. Authorities condemned the violence, with President Asif Ali Zardari blaming the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). However, the BLA denied involvement, citing an attack elsewhere. Balochistan has seen persistent insurgency with groups demanding independence, often targeting outsiders.
