💨 Abstract
A 36-year-old woman, Stephanie Castillo, was charged with murder and manslaughter in the deaths of her newborn twin boys found behind a New York City apartment building in 2020. The babies died from blunt force trauma. Castillo was arrested at a Bronx homeless shelter. New York City police officers, who had been searching for the perpetrator, organized a funeral for the infants, named Zeke and Zane, nearly a year after their bodies were discovered.
