💨 Abstract
Eight people died after a boat capsized on Lake Tahoe due to sudden stormy weather. None of the deceased were wearing life vests, and only two survivors were. The 28-foot boat, carrying 10 people, flipped over amid 10-foot waves and strong winds. Four life vests were found at the scene. No distress calls were made, and toxicology results for the victims are pending.
