💨 Abstract
A woman was attacked by a brown bear while hiking the Basher Trail in Alaska’s Chugach Mountains. The injured hiker was rescued by Alaska State Troopers and received non-life-threatening injuries. The bear is still being sought by officials. Authorities advise hikers to be prepared with safety measures, such as bear spray, and avoid the Stuckagain Heights area trails temporarily.
