💨 Abstract
Paramount agreed to pay $16 million to settle a lawsuit filed by former President Donald Trump over the editing of a "60 Minutes" interview with then-Vice President Kamala Harris. The settlement does not include an apology. Trump's lawsuit alleged "mental anguish" due to the editing, which he claimed misled voters. Paramount will now release transcripts of future interviews with presidential candidates, subject to certain redactions.
