💨 Abstract
The Alamo has acquired Pee-wee Herman's iconic bike from the 1985 film "Pee-wee’s Big Adventure." Despite the film's myth about the bike being in a non-existent Alamo basement, the bike will be displayed in the upcoming Mays Family Legacy Gallery, highlighting the Alamo's cultural impact. It will join other pop culture items and be a centerpiece in the new visitor center opening in 2027.
