💨 Abstract

Female legislators in Kentucky face a significant disadvantage due to the lack of sufficient restrooms in the state capitol, leading to missed votes and debates. The current design, with only two stalls for women compared to multiple men's bathrooms, highlights a broader issue of gender disparity in public institutions. Experts argue that this reflects cultural attitudes and excludes women. Upcoming renovations aim to address this issue by adding more women's restrooms.
