💨 Abstract
A couple in Southern California, Silvia Zhang and Guojun Xuan, and their surrogacy practices are under investigation following a 2-month-old infant’s traumatic head injury. The police have since taken custody of 21 children, all born via surrogate, including a 2-month-old to a 13-year-old. Eight women have alleged the couple provided misleading information. Esperanza, who initially agreed to be a surrogate, said peculiar requests and incomplete information led her to back out.
