💨 Abstract
In the 2024 U.S. presidential election, alternative voting methods like mail-in ballots, early in-person voting, and ballot drop boxes remained popular, despite attacks and rhetoric targeting these methods. About 30% of voters used mail ballots, a decrease from 2020 but higher than pre-pandemic levels. Early, in-person voting increased, with significant rises in both Republican and Democratic states.
