💨 Abstract

After withdrawing and then reinstating the documentary "The Road Between Us: The Ultimate Rescue," the Toronto International Film Festival will screen a film documenting the 2023 Hamas attack. The festival initially revoked the invitation over legal concerns regarding the identification of Hamas militants in the footage. Following public outcry, TIFF and filmmaker Barry Avrich resolved issues related to safety, legal, and programming concerns, allowing the film to be included in the festival lineup.
