💨 Abstract
The NFL faces a trial over discrimination claims by Brian Flores and other Black coaches. The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the NFL's arbitration process is flawed and allows Commissioner Roger Goodell to serve as arbitrator, violating the Federal Arbitration Act. The ruling allows Flores to proceed with claims against the NFL and teams including the Denver Broncos, New York Giants, and Houston Texans.
