💨 Abstract
A driver, Chris Raschke, died during a speed record attempt at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats. Raschke, 60, lost control of his vehicle, the Speed Demon, about two and a half miles into a run. The incident is under investigation. Raschke had over four decades of experience in motor sports. The event, Speed Week, attracts motorcycle and car enthusiasts and runs through Friday.
