💨 Abstract
In the Israeli-occupied West Bank, Bedouin women from Umm al-Khair are on a hunger strike to demand the return of Awdah Al Hathaleen's body. He was fatally shot by a settler during a land conflict. The Israeli authorities refuse to release it unless funeral conditions restrict large gatherings or impose night burials. The women are also protesting settler violence and Israeli restrictions that prevent burying him in his hometown.
