💨 Abstract
Eric Sweeney, now 19, will plead guilty to second-degree murder charges for killing his sister-in-law, Kassandra Sweeney, and two nephews in 2022 when he was 16. Initially charged with first-degree murder, Sweeney lived with his brother’s family in Northfield, New Hampshire. Prosecutors allege he had behavioral issues that escalated tensions in the home. Before the shooting, he expressed feelings of not belonging to the family.
