💨 Abstract
The NFL plans to appeal a Nevada Supreme Court ruling that allows former Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden to pursue his lawsuit instead of arbitration. Gruden filed the lawsuit against the NFL and Commissioner Roger Goodell in 2021, alleging that leaked emails containing offensive comments led to his resignation and career damage. The court ruled that an arbitration clause in the NFL Constitution is unconscionable and does not apply to Gruden as a former employee.
