💨 Abstract
Billy Howton, a former Green Bay Packers star and NFL Players Association founder, passed away at 95. Born in 1930, Howton was a prolific wide receiver, setting numerous records, including the first 1,000-yard receiving season by a rookie in 1952. He led the league in receiving yards twice, was a four-time Pro Bowler, and three-time All-Pro.
