💨 Abstract
In rural Pennsylvania, a man fatally shot his neighbor and ambushed first responders, wounding two state troopers and an EMT. Carmine Faino, 61, continued shooting, targeting a police drone and an emergency vehicle. He was later killed by police. The incident occurred in Thompson Township, which relies on state police for emergency response. Two heroic troopers, despite injuries, secured the area. Motives remain unclear. Both troopers are recovering in hospital.
