đź’¨ Abstract
YouTube is introducing an AI-driven age-verification system in the U.S. to differentiate between adults and minors based on their viewing history. Initially affecting a small portion of the audience, the system will only work when users are logged in. If deemed under 18, the user will face restrictions and safeguards like break reminders and privacy warnings. Inaccurate assessments can be corrected with ID verification. The move follows calls for enhanced age verification post the U.S.
