💨 Abstract
Texas Tech, under coach Joey McGuire, is investing $55 million in athletes this year, aiming to transform its football program after years of mediocre performance. This money comes in part from the $20.5 million allotment permitted by NCAA settlement and also comes through Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals.
