💨 Abstract

Kansas University received a $300 million donation from David Booth, the largest in school history. Booth's gift will fund renovations to the football stadium and the Gateway District, adding new facilities. The athletic director called Booth a generous benefactor. Booth has previously given substantial donations to KU, including helping renovate the football stadium and purchasing James Naismith’s original rules of basketball. The donation aims to support the athletic department long-term.
