💨 Abstract
Lawyers for Vietnamese and Burmese migrants filed an emergency motion alleging that the Trump administration deported their clients to South Sudan, violating a prior court order. At least a dozen migrants were abruptly sent to South Sudan without proper notice or the chance to contest their deportation. The judge had previously blocked deportations to third countries without written notice and an opportunity to challenge. The lawyers are seeking the migrants' return and a halt to further deportations to third countries unless they comply with the court order.
