💨 Abstract

A Venezuelan citizen, Widmer Josneyder Agelviz-Sanguino, approved for U.S. resettlement under the UN refugee program, was deported to El Salvador and detained. A judge ordered the U.S. to restore communication between Agelviz-Sanguino and his lawyer, which has been cut off for nearly 70 days. The U.S. government must also confirm his location, health, and legal basis for detention.
