💨 Abstract
An Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad, India, killing over 240 people, including passengers and individuals on the ground at the BJ Medical College and Hospital. At least one passenger, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, survived and was receiving treatment. Ramesh described the crash as happening rapidly after a loud noise. The final death toll is reported to be at least 290 people.
