💨 Abstract
The infectologist Eduardo López discussed a measles outbreak in parts of Buenos Aires province on CNN Radio, emphasizing the importance of vaccination campaigns due to a decline in coverage since 2018. In 2022, 180,000 children missed the measles vaccine, and in 2023, around 350,000 did. López highlighted that children are the most susceptible and stressed the need for two doses of the vaccine.
