💨 Abstract
The collapse of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC), a crucial ocean current system, could plummet temperatures in parts of Europe to -55°F, causing severe climatic and social impacts. The AMOC, which transports warm water northward and colder water southward, is weakening due to global warming.
