💨 Abstract
In a June 28, 2025 speech, President Donald Trump made several false claims about his comprehensive domestic policy bill. He claimed that Medicaid remains unchanged, that the bill includes no taxes on Social Security benefits, and that failing to pass the bill would result in a 68% tax increase. However, the bill contains significant changes to Medicaid that could lead to millions losing coverage and does not fully eliminate taxes on Social Security benefits.
