💨 Abstract
Bolivian authorities are investigating around 40 leaders of the movement headed by former President Evo Morales for their alleged involvement in recent violent protests. Five people died in clashes between police and Morales' supporters in Llallagua. Morales' supporters have been protesting to demand his registration as a presidential candidate, despite a constitutional ban on consecutive re-elections. Morales accuses President Luis Arce of blocking his political aspirations, while Arce blames Morales for promoting violence.
