💨 Abstract
A federal judge will hear arguments on Friday regarding California's request to limit the use of U.S. Army members in Los Angeles. The hearing follows a appeals court's reversal of a previous ruling that required Trump to relinquish control of 4,000 federalized National Guard members. Governor Gavin Newsom seeks a preliminary injunction to prevent Trump from using these guards and U.S. Marines for purposes other than protecting federal property.
