💨 Abstract
Six people died after a small plane crashed into the ocean near San Diego on Sunday. The pilot of the Cessna 414 declared a mayday just five minutes after takeoff, struggling to maintain control and altitude. The plane crashed under unknown circumstances. The U.S. Coast Guard is searching the debris field. Weather conditions were not severe at the time of the crash. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the accident. The aircraft was bound for Phoenix.
