💨 Abstract
Tropical Storm Barry has formed in the Bay of Campeche with sustained winds of 65 km/h and is moving northwestward toward Mexico's eastern coast. Expected to make landfall later today, Barry is predicted to quickly weaken after reaching land. Warnings are issued from Boca de Catán to Tecolutla, with heavy rainfall anticipated, ranging from 100-150 mm, possibly up to 250 mm in some regions.
