💨 Abstract
A Salvadoran journalist, Mario Guevara, was arrested in Doraville, Georgia, while covering a protest against President Trump's policies. Guevara, wearing a "Press" vest, was detained despite identifying as media. He was charged with minor offenses, which his lawyers contest. After being released on bail, he was taken into custody by ICE due to his immigration status. A bodycam video shows Guevara's arrest, where he peacefully cooperated and asked officers to secure his phone.
