💨 Abstract

Astronomers are excited about a newly discovered, fast-moving object, 3I/ATLAS, traversing our solar system from outside. Its speed, trajectory, and activity suggest it's a comet from another star system. Detected by the ATLAS telescope in Chile, it is the third observed interstellar object. Astronomers worldwide are tracking it, estimating it will be visible until 2026. The comet poses no threat to Earth.
