💨 Abstract
In a significant breakthrough, researchers sequenced the complete genome of an ancient Egyptian man, revealing he lived around 4,500-4,800 years ago. The DNA showed 80% from North African origins and 20% from West Asia and Mesopotamia, suggesting ancient cultural connections. The findings, published in Nature, provide new insights into the genetic and cultural exchanges between Egypt and neighboring regions during the time of the first pyramids.
