An official report on the deadliest plane crash in a decade has provided crucial insights, though many questions remain unanswered. The Air India Flight AI171 crashed shortly after takeoff in Ahmedabad, India, killing 241 on board and 19 on the ground. Preliminary findings from India's Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau indicated that the plane's fuel supply was cut off during ascent. The "black box" revealed conflicting communications between pilots regarding the fuel switches.
