💨 Abstract
The number of missing persons in the catastrophic floods in Kerr County, Texas, has been adjusted from 97 to just three. The extensive tracking efforts by state and local agencies confirmed many initially reported missing were safe. The floods, which began over the July 4th weekend, left at least 135 people dead across Texas. Search operations continue along the river Guadalupe, with Governor Abbott acknowledging that identifying all victims and missing persons may take days.
