💨 Abstract

The aging baby boomer population has increased the need for long-term care options, with over a million Americans aged 65 and older residing in assisted living facilities. These facilities cater to adults needing help with daily activities while encouraging independence. Unlike nursing homes, they provide social support and secure environments, with many having specialized memory care units. To qualify, residents must be medically stable and able to participate safely in the community.
