💨 Abstract
Colombia's navy seized an autonomous semi-submersible vessel in the Caribbean, near Santa Marta, carrying drugs. This is the first such vessel found in the country, indicating a trend in drug trafficking towards using unmanned, sophisticated technology. The vessel was discovered as part of Operation Orión, a multinational effort involving 62 countries, which also resulted in the seizure of 2,320 tons of various drugs and 1,120 arrests.
