💨 Abstract

Immigration judge in Georgia ordered the release of Mario Guevara, a Hispanic journalist and live streamer, on bail. Guevara, who has been in the U.S. since 2004, was detained by ICE after covering a protest in Atlanta. He was initially charged with minor offenses but was held due to his immigration status. Guevara has work authorization but lacks a permanent resident card.
