💨 Abstract
Rigoberta Menchú, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, received her naturalization certificate as a Mexican citizen on July 16, 2025. The Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs recognized her advocacy for human rights and indigenous peoples. Acting on behalf of President Claudia Sheinbaum, Foreign Secretary Juan Ramón de la Fuente presented Menchú with her certificate.
